Didi Dramani reveals vision for Hearts

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has outlined his vision and philosophies as he begins his tenure with the club.

The former Head of Football at the Right to Dream Academy believes that direction, consistency, and sustainability are the three pillars that will drive success at Hearts of Oak.

Dramani, 59, recently signed a two-year contract with the Phobians and is focused on building a strong, competitive squad for the upcoming seasons.

In an exclusive interview with JoySports’ Atsu Tamakloe, Dramani emphasized the importance of gaining trust within the club to execute his long-term project.

“At Right to Dream, I spoke very little. As Head of Football, everything around football was under you. We did a lot of scouting, and we need everyone to was getting everyone to understand the philosophies.”

He further explained:

“Philosophies in football are simply beliefs. What you believe in, what you trust, and what your ideas are about. If people believe in something, they stay committed to it.”

Dramani’s appointment signals a fresh start for the Phobians, with a clear focus on structure, belief, and long-term growth.

The former Black Stars assistant coach will lead Hearts out of the tunnel when they face Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday. Two days later, the Phobians will fly out to Nigeria for the Eko International Cup.
