Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Big Brother Naija Season 10 star Thelma Lawson has opened up about why she rejected fellow housemate Rooboy’s romantic advances during the show.
Speaking during the final episode of the BBNaija reunion, Thelma said Rooboy was not the kind of man she would want around her child, explaining that her decision was based on personal values and the image she wants for her family life.
She pointed to his tattoos, loud personality, and work as a hypeman, saying those traits did not match the kind of environment she wants for her son. She also criticized his communication skills, claiming he struggled with spelling.
According to her, they can remain friends, but nothing beyond that is possible.“I don’t want him around my son. He is too loud, and his tattoos are not the lifestyle I want. We can only be friends,” she said.Thelma added that Rooboy was unhappy about her rejection and later described her as bitter, although he denied being upset and insisted he respected her decision.
Rooboy explained that he genuinely expressed interest in her during the show but said there was a misunderstanding about other relationships in the house.
