Ghanaian comedian and actor Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, popularly known as Dr Likee, has been honoured with a brand-new Toyota Camry after reports that he sold his personal vehicles to support his successful London show.
The entertainer received the 2022 Toyota Camry Sport as a special gift from EBA Motors in recognition of the sacrifices he made to bring his Dr Likee Live – A Night of Comedy, Music and Stage Play event to life in the United Kingdom.
Dr Likee reportedly invested heavily in the show, including taking care of travel arrangements and other expenses for his crew and cast members who travelled to perform at the prestigious Indigo at The O2 in London.
The surprise presentation left the comedian emotional as he expressed gratitude to EBA Motors for appreciating his dedication and efforts toward promoting Ghanaian entertainment internationally.
He described the vehicle as a blessing and a motivation to continue working hard, adding that he was grateful for the unexpected gesture.“I’m truly grateful for this gesture. I never expected anything like this, and I’m overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me,” Dr Likee said.
He also pledged his support to EBA Motors, saying the company had become part of his journey after recognising his sacrifices.
