The rumor began circulating on social media after an X user falsely alleged that Officer Woos had shared news of Broda Shaggi’s death on Instagram.
The post quickly gained attention, sparking concern among fans.Reacting to the claim, Officer Woos reposted a screenshot of the viral message on his Instagram Story and simply described it as “false.”His legal representatives also issued a statement condemning the publication, describing it as misleading, malicious, and completely fabricated.
According to the statement, Officer Woos has never announced the death of any colleague, friend, or associate on any of his social media platforms.The lawyers further stated that the false reports were an attempt to misinform the public and damage the content creator’s reputation.
They warned that legal action could be taken against individuals responsible for spreading the misinformation.
The rumors surrounding Broda Shaggi surfaced months after reports emerged that he was injured during a filming incident at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State. Since then, the comedian has largely stayed away from publicly addressing the incident, which fueled speculation online.
