Nigerian singer Spyro has shared his thoughts on why some entertainers struggle financially despite earning huge sums of money early in their careers.
Speaking during a recent event, the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner said excessive spending on women, parties, and luxury trips has contributed to the downfall of some artists.
According to him, there is nothing wrong with taking care of a partner, but people should be mindful of how they spend their money and avoid unnecessary extravagance.
Spyro advised young men to focus on saving, investing, and building a stable future rather than spending recklessly to impress others.The singer claimed that some of his colleagues squandered their first major earnings on lavish parties and expensive trips abroad, eventually finding themselves in financial difficulties.
Reflecting on his own journey, Spyro said he chose a different path by staying focused on his music career and making smart investments.
He also revealed that after becoming famous, he received attention from several women on social media, including offers to sponsor international trips.
However, he said he turned down such distractions in order to remain committed to his goals.Spyro maintained that discipline, wise financial decisions, and staying focused have played a major role in his success so far.
