Samantha Busch has paid an emotional tribute to her late husband, NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, on what would have been their first Father’s Day without him.
One month after Kyle’s passing at the age of 41, Samantha reflected on the painful reality of celebrating a day that was always centered around the man who meant so much to their family.
In a touching social media post accompanied by a video montage of family memories, Samantha opened up about the moments they had expected to share.
She revealed that Father’s Day cards made by their children, Brexton, 11, and Lennix, 4, remained untouched, with no father there to receive them.
Remembering Kyle as a devoted and loving dad, Samantha described him as the parent who never missed an opportunity to make his children laugh, spend quality time with them, or create unforgettable memories.She said nothing brought him greater joy than being a father to Brexton and Lennix, adding that watching old family videos is both heartbreaking and comforting because it reminds them how fortunate they were to have shared so many special moments together.
Addressing her late husband directly, Samantha expressed the deep pain of his absence, saying the family misses him every second of every day. She shared that the loss is not only emotional but something they physically feel, as they continue adjusting to life without him.
Despite the grief, Samantha vowed to keep Kyle’s memory alive by sharing his stories, celebrating his laughter, and ensuring their children always know how deeply their father loved them.
The emotional tribute came exactly one month after Kyle passed away on May 21 following complications from severe pneumonia that developed into sepsis.
