Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has responded to growing concerns about his health, assuring fans that his recent weight loss is intentional and not the result of any illness.
The surviving member of the Adegbodu Twins music group said he decided to adopt a healthier lifestyle after receiving advice from several medical professionals following the death of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu.
According to Kehinde, doctors encouraged him to reduce his protruding tummy, with some expressing regret that they had not given the same advice before his brother’s passing.”I’ve seen the comments about my weight loss.
Yes, I have slimmed down, but it’s for the sake of my health. After my twin brother died, many medical professionals reached out to me and advised me to work on my tummy. That’s why I started dieting,” he said.
The singer stressed that he is not sick and urged fans not to worry about his appearance.”There’s nothing wrong with me. I’m healthy, and I believe there’s nothing more important than taking care of your health,” he added.Kehinde also thanked those who have shown genuine concern, praying for God’s blessings upon them.
He, however, reacted to those mocking his appearance, saying he leaves them to God while asking everyone to continue praying for him.His twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, passed away earlier this year after reportedly suffering a heart attack. Kehinde said the tragic loss inspired him to make lifestyle changes aimed at improving his own health and well-being.
