
Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to merit-based, transparent recruitment into the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
Speaking during the Government’s Accountability Series at Jubilee House on Monday, Dr Omane Boamah assured that enlistment procedures would remain impartial and free from external influence.
He stated emphatically that the process would not be influenced by money or political connections.
“Ensure that you meet the criteria or qualify before you apply,” he advised.
The Minister cautioned against fraudulent recruitment practices and encouraged applicants to report such incidents to law enforcement.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to uphold the integrity of the GAF through credible and fair recruitment procedures that reflect national values.
