Nigerian music executive and businessman Soso Soberekon has made a surprising offer to Peter Okoye, one half of the famous P-Square duo.
Soberekon has reportedly offered Peter N500 million to step into the boxing ring and fight his twin brother, Paul Okoye, amid the brothers’ long-running family and financial dispute.
The unexpected offer was made on Sunday night while Peter was performing.In a video that has since circulated on social media, Soberekon could be seen in the crowd holding up his phone toward Peter. The screen displayed a message offering N500 million for a boxing match between the twins.
The message read: “500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”The offer comes at a time when tensions between Peter and Paul remain high.The twin brothers, who achieved massive success together as P-Square before their split, have been involved in a bitter dispute over financial matters and music royalties.Peter has previously accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of diverting royalties connected to their music.
Although it is unclear whether Peter has responded to Soberekon’s unusual proposal, the offer has already attracted attention online, with fans reacting to the idea of the famous twins settling their differences inside a boxing ring.
