Ghanaian UAE-based executive Frank K. Harrison appointed as Active Director of Sap Music Group

In a significant development bridging the Ghanaian creative industry and the international media space, Ghanaian-born entrepreneur and music executive Frank K. Harrison, currently based in the United Arab Emirates, has been officially appointed as the Active Director of Sap Media Publishing Ltd, a UK-registered music publishing and rights administration company.

With a solid background in music administration, royalty collection, and creative business development, Frank K. Harrison has built a reputation as one of Africa’s leading minds in music distribution and publishing.

His appointment marks a strategic move by Sap Media Publishing Ltd to strengthen its global footprint—particularly across Africa and the Middle East—while bringing world-class innovation to the publishing and royalty management space.

Sap Media Publishing Ltd, headquartered in London, operates under a vision to empower independent artists, songwriters, and rights holders through transparent global publishing services, sync licensing, and digital royalty collection. The company is behind Sap Music Group, a rising name in independent music distribution and content monetization.

“I’m honoured to take on this role,” Frank said. “This is not just a title, it’s a call to raise the standard for how African and diaspora creators manage their intellectual property globally. We are building a publishing powerhouse that puts the artist first, with full ownership, transparency, and global reach.”

Frank K. Harrison is also the founder of Trust Music Entertainment (PTY) Ltd and serves as a Label Manager for Paradise Worldwide (West Africa & Middle East). His track record includes overseeing catalog transitions, digital rights management, royalty recovery, and launching self-service platforms tailored for independent creators.

As Active Director, Frank will lead Sap Media Publishing’s expansion into new territories, develop strategic partnerships with tech platforms, and oversee the company’s rollout of its online administration platform, expected to fully launch later this year.

This appointment signals a new era of Afro-global creative leadership—bridging Africa, the Middle East, and Europe through scalable, creator-first publishing solutions.
