Actress-turned-minister Victoria Lebene has responded to possible doubts surrounding her spiritual calling, stating confidently that her ministry is not self-appointed, but divinely assigned.
In a candid moment during her interview on The Career Trail program, she addressed the quiet skepticism she believes may exist in some circles regarding her recent transition into ministry.
“I have not heard or nobody has said it to my face. But I am definitely sure a couple of people will be wondering or may not understand because they do not have an encounter with me,” she said.
Victoria acknowledged that people are entitled to their opinions and perceptions, but made it clear that such doubts don’t shake her faith or mission.
“You know, people are entitled to have different perceptions and opinions. But I don’t care because I exhibit God-given talents that I have shown to people who have had encounters with me,” she stressed.
“I don’t dwell on such doubts, whether people accept me for who I say I am or not,” she added.
She added that her calling is not self-imposed, but rooted in a divine mandate.
“I am a sender. I have not come by myself. It is what God has made me,” she declared.
Victoria explained that truly understanding her requires knowing the full story, one that she is responsible for living out through obedience and consistency.
“So you need to know the story to be able to accept. And how do you know the story? It is my responsibility to exhibit all the things that God has said I should become,” she highlighted.
Although she remains authentic to who she is, she admits that the call of God has influenced how she approaches life and purpose.
“It has influenced how I do things, in some aspects, though I’m still myself,” she said.
