Social media personality Emmanuel Jakpa, popularly known as Alavin, has withdrawn the allegations he previously made against businessman and influencer Uyi Godson Agho, also known as Godson.In a new video statement, Alavin said the earlier video that circulated online did not accurately represent the situation.
He urged the public to disregard its contents, stressing that the claims he made were not true.He also alleged that the continued circulation of the old video by an individual identified as Richie was motivated by a previous personal disagreement with Godson rather than the facts of the matter.
According to Alavin, his latest statement was made willingly and without any pressure. He maintained that he and Godson remain friends and wanted to clarify the situation publicly.
The development comes after Godson denied allegations that he defrauded social media influencer IsokoBoy of ₦100 million. Godson insisted the dispute was related to a business transaction involving a clothing venture, not fraud.
Godson also claimed that he was confronted at his residence by IsokoBoy, Alavin and others, who allegedly recorded him while he was unclothed before the footage was shared online alongside claims that he had defrauded his business partner.The controversy continues to attract attention online as both parties maintain different accounts of the events surrounding their business relationship.
