Burna Boy and Colombian music icon Shakira have reached a major milestone with their official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, “Dai Dai,” which has now surpassed 800 million combined streams across Spotify and YouTube.
The song recorded more than 200 million streams on Spotify and over 600 million views on YouTube, making it the most successful official FIFA World Cup anthem throughout the 2026 tournament.
With the achievement, “Dai Dai” has also become the most-viewed FIFA World Cup music video since Shakira’s 2014 World Cup hit, “La La La (Brazil 2014).”Released ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the song quickly became a fan favorite as supporters from different countries embraced it during match celebrations, stadium events, and throughout the tournament.
The record-breaking success has cemented “Dai Dai” as the defining soundtrack of the 2026 FIFA World Cup while adding another major international achievement to Burna Boy’s growing list of global accomplishments alongside Shakira.
