Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Chibunna Stanley, better known as Funnybone, has shared why he chooses to keep his wife and two children away from the spotlight on social media.During a recent interview, the comedian revealed that protecting his family’s privacy is a decision he takes seriously.
While confirming that he is married with two children, Funnybone explained that he prefers to separate his public life from his personal life.According to him, social media has become a place where many people pay too much attention to the lives of others, making privacy more important than ever.
He said that although fans know him as Funnybone on stage and in public, he is simply Chibunna when he is at home with his family.The comedian also shared his thoughts on the future of Nigeria’s comedy industry.
He expressed optimism that Nigerian comedy can gain even more global recognition over the next decade. However, he believes achieving that goal will require improvements in the way comedy is produced, packaged, and marketed to international audiences.
