Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has paid a touching tribute to late actress Beverly Afaglo, revealing how much she contributed to the growth of his acting career.
In an emotional social media post, Dumelo reflected on their early days in the movie industry and shared how Beverly constantly encouraged and supported him when he was still finding his feet as an actor.

According to him, they first met nearly 20 years ago on the set of the popular TV series About to Wed in Dzorwulu, Accra, alongside actors like Prince David Osei and Yvonne Okyere.
He said Beverly always pushed him to do better and helped bring out the best in him on set.
Dumelo also disclosed that Beverly later recommended him for a major role in The King Is Mine at a time when competition in the movie industry was very intense.
He explained that the opportunity became a turning point in his career and helped him gain recognition across West Africa.
Expressing gratitude, the actor described Beverly as kind, supportive, and selfless, adding that her impact on his life and career would never be forgotten.
He also promised to honour her memory in the future, saying her name would fill many pages whenever he decides to write his life story.
