Peller Opens Up on Four Days in Police Custody: ‘I Didn’t Eat or Bathe’

Controversial streamer Peller has spoken publicly about his experience after spending four days in police detention, describing the period as one of the toughest moments of his life.

Peller was arrested on July 3, 2026, following an encounter with police officers after he accused them of pointing a gun at him during a stop over his tinted vehicle.

He was later arraigned before a Lagos State Magistrate Court on charges including conspiracy to commit felony, conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace, and obstruction of police officers while carrying out their duties.

The court subsequently granted him bail in the sum of ₦500,000, subject to certain conditions.Speaking after his release, Peller revealed that he has not returned to live streaming because he is still recovering from the experience.According to him, he neither ate nor bathed throughout the four days he spent in detention.
