Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun David, popularly known as Vector, has opened up about how growing up with his sisters influenced the way he sees women today.
Speaking during a recent episode of the MENtality podcast hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the rapper said he has never believed that women are the “weaker vessel” because of his childhood experiences.
Vector recalled that his sisters often bullied him while they were growing up, describing the experience as emotionally challenging and saying it left a lasting impact on him.According to him, those experiences taught him that women are just as strong and capable as men, making it impossible for him to view them as inferior.
He explained that being constantly outmatched by his sisters changed his perspective from an early age and shaped the respect he has for women today.
