Be bold enough to ignore nepotistic influences – GUPS Secretary urges student leaders



Secretary for the Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS), Titus Owusu Darko, has admonished student leaders to be bold enough to ignore nepotistic influences

According to him, such influences eventually degrade an individual’s ambition or dream.

In an interview with Nathaniel Nii Amo Otoo on Hitz FM’s Campus Konnect, the Student Leader called out to student leaders across Ghana to stand firm in their convictions and lead with courage.

“In student leadership or politics at large, they should be bold enough to face everything. Don’t let any Nepotistic being to overcome your ambition, dream, or passion for going for a position,” he said on Hitz FM.

Titus also emphasized the importance of boldness in student leadership. He advised student leaders to be “bold” in facing challenges.

His message comes from his personal experience in leadership is sparking applause from his political communication skills and impactful advocacy in shaping National Student Leadership.

Titus Owusu Darko’s dual roles in GUPS, Lifelink Model United Nations and the National Youth Mock Parliament highlight his influence in Ghana’s student leadership landscape.

His emphasis on bold leadership resonates with students striving to make a difference in their communities and institutions.
