The Ministry of Finance is inviting contributions from the public towards the development of Ghana’s 2026–2029 Budget Statement and Economic Policy.
In a statement, the Ministry expressed appreciation to business associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, civil society organisations, faith-based groups, and the general public for their continued input into the national budget over the years.
The Ministry says it has begun preparations for the new four-year budget and economic policy, which will be presented to Parliament by November 15, 2025.

It is therefore requesting suggestions from the public for consideration in the drafting process.
According to the Ministry, the move aligns with the government’s commitment to meeting the needs of citizens, encouraging active participation in the budget process, and implementing inclusive policies.
Members of the public are urged to submit their proposals electronically via bdru@mofep.gov.gh no later than Friday, August 29, 2025.
