The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Ho Central Chairman of the Council of Elders, Theophilus Foli, has asserted that Kennedy Agyapong, an NPP presidential hopeful, has the pedigree to transform Ghana’s fortune.
He explained that Mr Agyapong has demonstrated this through his track record and development plan, which he preached during his campaign.
Mr Foli said his when a team from Mr Agyapong’s camp paid a courtesy call on him and presented him with a wheelchair in Ho.

He stressed that the Volta Region would overwhelmingly endorse his candidacy again and was hopeful that delegates across the country would do the same, as there is no internal coercion anymore.
“I know he is our flagbearer, because there is no one to push us to the wall again, so we are going to vote for him. NPP is the only party that can govern Ghana, and guide it to develop”, he said.
Mr Foli eulogised Mr Agyapong on his selfless actions and zeal to help the less privileged in society, detailing how nobody or the party has extended such love to him, since he became incapacitated, and couldn’t walk.

“I am the first ever elected Constituency Secretary of this Party. I later contested as an MP but since then, nobody has ever paid me such a visit. The party has never donated anything to me, but I have stayed loyal to the party”, he lamented.
The Director of Operations of Mr. Agyapong’s campaign team, Charles Bisseu, who led the delegation extended a heart-warming gratitude from Mr. Agyapong to Mr. Foli for his unflinching support to the progress of the party.
He assured of Mr. Agyapong’s commitment to the well-being of the party and its fateful, as he had exhibited over the years.
“We are glad with the work you have done and continue to do for the party. We will also continue playing our parts for the good of the party and followers” said Mr. Bisseu.
