Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has attributed Ghana’s recent economic stability to divine intervention, describing it as clear evidence of God’s blessings on the nation.
Delivering a sermon during the church’s 2025 Christmas celebration, the outspoken preacher said developments in the economy, particularly the performance of the cedi, should be acknowledged as signs of grace rather than coincidence.
“Look at the blessings of God upon Ghana; whether you like it or not, it is a fact that cannot be denied,” he told congregants.
Reverend Owusu Bempah pointed specifically to the local currency’s showing during the festive period, arguing that it directly impacted how citizens experienced the season.
“Look at the cedi’s performance against the dollar this Christmas. Ghanaians have really enjoyed this year’s Christmas,” he said, suggesting that the relative stability brought relief and confidence to many households.
He also linked the country’s outlook to the spiritual posture of its leadership, stressing the importance of prayer at the highest level of governance.
“The President and his Vice President can pray for over two hours for Ghana,” he said.
Reverend Owusu Bempah added that the President’s faith plays a central role in shaping the nation’s future.
“The President believes in divinity, and the way I see it, Ghana is going to get better,” he declared, expressing optimism about the country’s direction.
