Presidency launches gov’t accountability series to enhance transparency

The Presidency Communications Office will on Monday, 14th July 2025, commence the Government Accountability Series as part of efforts to promote transparency and accountability in governance.

The initiative will provide a platform for key sector ministers to present mid-year updates and offer a preliminary assessment of the government’s performance over the past six months.

The series will be held thrice weekly — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — at 11 a.m.

Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, will open the series with a presentation on developments within the security and interior sectors.
