Samson Lardy Ayenini to speak at CoMSSAFest 2025 seminar

Renowned Ghanaian legal practitioner and broadcast journalist, Samson Lardy Ayenini, will headline the CoMSSAFest 2025 seminar. The 2019 P.V. Ansah Journalist of the Year at the 25th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Media Awards will address patrons on the theme: “The Role of Effective Communication in Deepening Our Democracy.”

Other distinguished speakers include the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Professor Stephen Jobson Mitchual; Dean of the School of Communication and Media Studies (SCMS), Professor Albert Agbesi Wornyo; and Patron of the Communication and Media Studies Students Association (CoMSSA), Professor Andy Ofori-Birikorang.

The event will take place at the School of Creative Arts (SCA) on the Central Campus of UEW, with students from other faculties also in attendance.

According to the Planning Committee, led by CoMSSA President Stephen Zoure, this year’s celebration will be historic due to the variety of activities lined up compared to previous years.

Other highlights of the festival include fun games, an interactive “Time with Lecturers” session, and a dinner and awards night to honour the contributions of members and alumni of the SCMS, which will mark its 20th anniversary in 2027.
