WAFU B Boys Cup: Black Satellites take on Benin U-20 in second group game

Ghana’s Black Satellites kicked off their 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against arch-rivals Nigeria at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

In a thrilling Group A opener, Ghana took the lead in the 23rd minute through a well-taken strike by Aziz Misbau. However, Nigeria struck back late in the 83rd minute to level the score and earn a share of the spoils—setting the stage for what promises to be a tightly contested tournament.

The Black Satellites will return to action on Wednesday when they face the Young Squirrels of Benin in their second group match.
