Ghanaian musician Keche Joshua has revealed that he earned GH₵80,000 for his appearance in Pappy Kojo’s newly released Customer music video.
Speaking during an interview on MX24 TV, the singer explained that despite his long-standing issues with Pappy Kojo, he accepted the offer strictly for business reasons.
According to Keche Joshua, there was no reconciliation or friendly moment between them during the shoot.
He said immediately after recording his scenes, he left without having any conversation with the rapper.“I was paid GH₵80,000, so I just did my work and left. It was purely business,” he shared.
The revelation has surprised many fans, especially considering the public tension and social media exchanges that have existed between the two musicians over the years.
Aside from the payment discussion, Keche Joshua also opened up about his approach to making music.
He explained that he prefers creating simple songs that listeners can easily enjoy and sing along to.
He noted that many people are already dealing with stress in everyday life, so musicians should focus on making music that entertains and connects with the public without making things too complicated.
The musician also praised Joey B’s News at 7, describing it as a great song with strong storytelling, although he admitted he still struggles to memorise some of the lyrics.
