Veteran entertainer and activist Charly Boy has opened up about the mistakes he made in his younger years, revealing that he was involved in criminal activities while living in the United States.
Speaking during a recent television interview, the outspoken social commentator reflected on his past, admitting that he made several reckless decisions that he now deeply regrets.”I’ve made mistakes in my life. I’ve been a thief. I’ve done very risky things.
I’ve done very stupid things, very foolish things. In fact, I have no business being here tonight, but I believe there’s a purpose for my life,” he said.Charly Boy went on to disclose that, at around 25 years old, he became involved in white-collar crime during his time in America.”I was doing white-collar crime when I was in America. I was about 25 years old. I was doing a lot of stupid stuff. That’s why I say I’ve been there,” he recalled.Rather than hide that chapter of his life, Charly Boy said he chose to include it in his memoir as a way of telling his complete story.
He explained that he wants people to understand that his journey has been one of mistakes, growth, transformation, and self-discovery.According to him, sharing his past honestly is meant to inspire others by showing that people can learn from their failures and choose a different path.
