Popular Ghanaian comic actor and content creator Dr. Likee, also known as Ras Nene, has finally addressed reports that he sold his personal car to support his successful comedy show at Indigo at The O2 in the UK.
Speaking after the event in an interview with Zionfelix, Dr. Likee indirectly reacted to comments allegedly made by fellow actor Lilwin, who suggested he was removed from the show despite it being organized by someone they both know.
According to Dr. Likee, he made huge sacrifices to ensure the show became a success, including selling his own car.“When I return to Ghana, I won’t even have a car to sit in,” he revealed.
The actor also used the opportunity to appeal to the public over his missing wallet, which reportedly got lost during his stay in the UK.
He explained that the wallet contained more than £3,000, some US dollars, Ghana cedis, bank cards, and his SIM card.Despite the financial loss and challenges, Dr. Likee said he has no regrets because his goal was bigger than personal comfort.
He explained that he wanted to inspire young creatives and prove that success in the entertainment industry often comes with sacrifice, determination, and strong belief in one’s craft.
According to him, his decision should motivate upcoming talents to take the entertainment industry seriously and believe that investing in their dreams can eventually pay off.
