Actress and media personality Temi Otedola has given fans a rare look into the dynamics of her famous family, revealing that her mother, Nana Otedola, was the ultimate authority figure at home.Speaking during a recent episode of the How Far podcast alongside her husband, singer Mr Eazi, Temi shared that her mother’s decisions were rarely questioned while growing up.

Instead, their mother instructed her to cook it herself. After making the meal, Cuppy reportedly wasn’t pleased with the outcome. However, Temi revealed that their mother insisted she finish the food before leaving the house, a moment that still makes the family laugh today.
The conversation has sparked reactions online, with many people relating to the strict parenting style often associated with African mothers. While some praised Nana Otedola’s influence and discipline, others debated the idea of one parent having the final say in family matters.
Temi recently made headlines after announcing that she and Mr Eazi are expecting their first child together. She also disclosed that they discovered the pregnancy while enjoying their honeymoon following their wedding celebrations in 2025.
