Kylie Jenner is facing another workplace lawsuit after a former private chef accused her employers of creating working conditions that allegedly contributed to the loss of her pregnancy.
The complaint, filed in Los Angeles, alleges discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, emotional distress, and unpaid wages.
The chef claims she regularly worked 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week, while performing physically demanding tasks despite informing supervisors that she had a high-risk pregnancy.According to the lawsuit, the chef joined Jenner’s household around Thanksgiving 2024.
A month later, she reportedly informed management that she was three months pregnant and requested reasonable accommodations to protect her health.Instead, she alleges she continued to face heavy workloads and verbal mistreatment from supervisors.
One incident described in the lawsuit claims she was instructed to carry heavy food items uphill without assistance, causing her to become dizzy, choke, and struggle to breathe before receiving help from security staff. The chef further claims that rather than showing concern, a manager criticized her, saying her condition had upset Jenner.Another incident allegedly occurred while working at one of Jenner’s child’s birthday celebrations in Palm Springs.
The chef says she was required to work long hours with little support and became physically and emotionally overwhelmed during the event. The following morning, she experienced severe bleeding and was rushed to the hospital, where she was reportedly informed that her unborn child no longer had a detectable heartbeat.
After returning to work and informing her employers about the miscarriage, the chef alleges she was blamed for leaving the kitchen in poor condition after the event. She says the experience left her suffering from severe emotional distress and depression. According to the complaint, a supervisor allegedly told her to stop expressing her emotions because she was upsetting Jenner. The lawsuit also claims that after she was dismissed from her job, she filed a formal complaint alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage violations.
She is seeking financial compensation, though no specific amount has been disclosed. The latest case comes just weeks after two former housekeepers filed separate lawsuits alleging workplace discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, retaliation, and other labour violations while working at Jenner’s home.
Both women are also seeking damages through the courts. The allegations contained in the lawsuits have not been proven in court, and no ruling has been made on the claims.
