Nigerian music star Asake is taking his music global once again as he officially announces his upcoming In God We Trust tour across Europe and North America.
The 16-city tour comes on the heels of the massive success of his latest album, M$NEY, which has continued to break streaming records and dominate charts since its release earlier this month.
Fans reacted with excitement after the singer shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday.
The tour is scheduled to begin on July 4 and run until October 24, covering major cities including London, Paris, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Berlin.
The North American leg of the tour will see Asake perform in cities such as Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta and Los Angeles, while the European side includes stops in London, Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam.
He is also expected to headline Afronation Portugal, one of the biggest Afrobeats festivals in Europe.
The announcement follows the impressive performance of M$NEY, Asake’s fourth studio album.
The 13-track project featured collaborations with Tiakola, DJ Snake and Kabza De Small, while showcasing a more refined and reflective sound compared to his earlier projects.
Although the album sparked mixed reactions among some fans, its commercial success has been undeniable. M$NEY reportedly recorded one of the biggest opening weeks ever for an African album on Spotify and also topped charts in several countries, including the UK Apple Music chart.
The project is also a major milestone for the singer as it marks his first full album released under his independent label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE.
In recent months, Asake has embraced a more reflective public image, often speaking about faith, gratitude and his journey from the streets of Lagos to becoming one of Africa’s biggest global music stars.
Ticket details for the In God We Trust tour are expected to be released soon.
