Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has reacted with a cryptic message following Father’s Day, after his wife Rosy Meurer and ex-wife Tonto Dikeh did not publicly celebrate him.
Father’s Day, marked on the third Sunday of June, was celebrated on June 21, 2026, with many Nigerians sharing tributes to fathers and father figures online.
However, Churchill was notably absent from posts by both women, sparking reactions and discussions on social media.
While Rosy Meurer and Tonto Dikeh remained silent, Churchill chose to celebrate himself by posting a photo of himself and offering prayers for his children.
Shortly after, he shared a message that appeared to address the situation, writing that he understands when to “play dumb” and prefers to observe people’s behaviour quietly.“Smart people know when to play dumb. I know who is fake, I just enjoy watching their performance,” he wrote.
The post quickly drew attention online, with many linking it to ongoing tension rumours surrounding his relationships, especially following his reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh and speculation about his marriage to Rosy Meurer.
Churchill has previously also been at the centre of similar public discussions during Mother’s Day, when he did not publicly acknowledge either Rosy or Tonto.
The latest development has once again stirred conversation on social media about his relationships and family dynamics.
