Popular TV host Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, have publicly accused each other of infidelity, emotional abuse, neglect and financial misconduct as details of their failed marriage continue to trend online.
The drama escalated after Sandra shared a lengthy post accusing Edoho of cheating throughout their marriage, emotionally tormenting her, neglecting his responsibilities as a father and depending heavily on her financially.
Reacting to the allegations, Edoho denied being the only one at fault and claimed Sandra’s alleged relationship with singer Chike played a major role in the collapse of their marriage.
According to him, he confronted the singer after allegedly discovering evidence of conversations between him and Sandra. Edoho claimed he initially tried to save the marriage for the sake of their children despite the situation.
He said he pleaded with Chike to stay away from his wife because he wanted to keep his family together, but alleged the relationship continued regardless of his efforts.Edoho also claimed he supported Sandra financially and professionally over the years, including sponsoring her education and helping her establish her interior design business before problems began in the marriage.
The veteran broadcaster further revealed that there was a period he left the marriage for several months before eventually returning after persuasion from Sandra. He also alleged that divorce proceedings intensified after she realised he had emotionally moved on.
Speaking on the legal battle, Edoho claimed Sandra demanded millions monthly for child support, though he insisted he presented evidence in court regarding issues in the marriage.
He also alleged that he secretly recorded conversations involving Sandra and Chike after she reportedly promised to end contact with the singer. According to him, some of those recordings later surfaced online.Despite the controversy, Edoho previously stated he did not intend to publicly discuss details of the failed marriage.
He also dismissed some accusations against him, saying people were free to hold whatever opinion they wanted.Meanwhile, social media discussions intensified after fans noticed Sandra and Chike sharing the same romantic song online around the same period the controversy exploded.Sandra, however, maintained that she endured years of emotional pain, betrayal and humiliation during the marriage before eventually deciding to walk away for her own wellbeing.
In her statement, she accused Edoho of repeatedly cheating during their relationship, including while she was pregnant with their first child. She also alleged he discouraged her from keeping their second child and abandoned many parental responsibilities.
The entrepreneur claimed she singlehandedly handled major expenses in the family, including luxury trips, household bills and school fees, while also accusing him of spending recklessly on other women.
Sandra additionally named several women she alleged Edoho was romantically linked to during their marriage. However, some of the women publicly denied the accusations and insisted their relationship with the TV host was strictly platonic or business-related.
One of them, Amaka Okeke, released a statement denying any romantic involvement with Edoho and described the claims as false and damaging.Reality TV personality Tega Dominic also appeared to dismiss the allegations with a brief social media response.Sandra Onyenucheya is known for her luxury interior design brand and often shares home decor projects and international design trips online. Edoho, on the other hand, remains one of Nigeria’s most recognised television personalities, especially for hosting the Nigerian edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.This is Edoho’s second publicly known failed marriage.
He was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang before their separation years ago.
