Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has reacted to ongoing conversations surrounding the late actor Alexx Ekubo’s personal life, saying he does not believe it is his place to discuss sensitive family matters publicly.
Speaking during a recent interview, Uchemba explained that he would rather respect the wishes and privacy of his late friend, especially regarding rumours about his marital status and alleged children.According to him, if Alexx Ekubo intentionally kept certain parts of his life away from the public, then those decisions should continue to be respected even after his passing.
Uchemba also stated that any official information concerning the actor’s family or private affairs should only come directly from Ekubo’s immediate family members.His comments come as social media users continue to speculate about details of the late actor’s personal life following news of his death.Alexx Ekubo reportedly passed away in Lagos after battling metastatic kidney cancer. His family had earlier appealed for privacy while mourning the actor.
During his career, Ekubo became one of Nollywood’s most recognised faces, starring in over 100 films and building a strong fan base across Africa.
