Nigerian media personality GehGeh has expressed frustration over the state of insecurity and leadership in Nigeria, criticizing both the government and the reaction of many young Nigerians.
In a statement shared on his official page, GehGeh compared the situation in Nigeria to recent events in South Africa, claiming that South Africans appear more united and willing to take action when faced with national issues.
According to him, citizens in South Africa often receive silent backing from authorities during major public actions, including support from security agencies.
He went on to criticize the Nigerian police, saying they focus more on arresting internet fraudsters and social media personalities instead of tackling bigger national problems affecting the country.
GehGeh also stated that many Nigerian youths are not yet ready to stand up against bad leadership and reclaim the country from what he described as “evil politicians.”
His comments have sparked conversations online, with many people debating the role of youths, leadership, and security agencies in addressing Nigeria’s growing challenges.
