Popular Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has reportedly passed away.
According to information gathered from a source within the Nollywood industry, the actor was rushed to the hospital on Monday after battling kidney cancer.
He was said to have spent several hours on life support before passing away on Tuesday afternoon.
Rumours about the actor’s health first surfaced in May 2025 after he disappeared from social media for several months.
His last known social media post was reportedly made on December 30, 2024.The news has left many fans and colleagues in shock as tributes continue to pour in for the actor, who was widely known for his roles in Nigerian movies and television productions.
