The controversy surrounding actress Judy Austin and Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has resurfaced after Judy’s former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, made a series of allegations about their past relationship.
Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, Obasi shared his account of events leading up to the end of his marriage to Judy, claiming she openly expressed admiration for Yul Edochie while they were still together.
According to him, Judy frequently spoke highly of the actor and allegedly told him directly that she loved Yul. He recalled that she often praised the actor and admired his voice, which she reportedly said reminded her of a relative.
Obasi further claimed that while Judy was in university, she informed him that she had met Yul Edochie. He alleged that the actor offered to assist them financially and presented himself as someone willing to support their family. However, Obasi said he declined the offer at the time.The businessman also alleged that there were incidents during their relationship that later made him suspect infidelity.
He claimed there were occasions when Judy would not return home as expected, offering explanations that he initially accepted because he trusted her.Looking back, Obasi said he now believes certain behaviours and events pointed to problems within the relationship.
He also made additional allegations concerning the circumstances surrounding their separation.During the emotional interview, Obasi presented photographs he said were taken during their traditional wedding ceremony, reflecting on the effort and resources he invested in the marriage before it eventually ended.
