Nigerian singer and rapper YCee has shared details about his personal battle with mental health, revealing that he was diagnosed with a mental health condition in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.Speaking during a recent podcast interview, the music star explained that the diagnosis led him to step away from the spotlight and focus on his recovery.
According to YCee, he spent six months in London and was frequently hospitalized for about three months after receiving the diagnosis.
He later returned to Nigeria to continue treatment, therapy, and medication.Reflecting on the experience, the rapper described the journey as a long and difficult one filled with ups and downs.
