Fast-rising Afro-Pop singer Opeloyeru Basit, better known as Nony 4DGD, is getting ready to release his new single titled Many Men, a song inspired by struggle, survival, and personal growth.
The Lagos-born artiste said the track reflects the hidden battles many people face daily while trying to succeed and make a better life for themselves. The song is set to drop on May 20 on all major streaming platforms.
According to Nony 4DGD, Many Men carries a strong message about resilience, taking risks, and refusing to give up even when life becomes difficult.He explained that growing up in Lagos greatly shaped both his sound and mindset, describing the city as a place filled with hustlers driven by ambition and determination.The singer also admitted that his music journey has changed him over time.
He said he initially tried to imitate other artistes but has now found his own identity and sound.
Nony 4DGD described Many Men as his most personal and honest song yet, revealing that there were moments he almost abandoned the project during recording sessions.
However, he said the frustration eventually became the energy that pushed him to finish the song.According to him, the final version came together during a late-night studio session where everything suddenly clicked.
The artiste added that what makes his music different is the fact that it comes from real-life experiences instead of trends or internet hype.
