Charles Spencer, the younger brother of late Princess Diana, has reportedly tied the knot with Norwegian archaeologist Cat Jarman in a private wedding ceremony held in Arizona.
The 61-year-old author and historian exchanged vows with Cat, 43, on Friday in an intimate desert wedding attended by close friends and family. Photos from the ceremony showed the couple smiling and holding hands against a beautiful desert backdrop, with Cat dressed in a simple white linen gown while carrying white roses.
The couple first met after Charles was asked to review Cat’s 2021 book, River Kings. What started as a professional connection later grew into a romantic relationship.
Over the years, they have worked together on archaeological projects and co-hosted a history podcast.In a joint statement, the newlyweds described themselves as fortunate to have moved from friendship and collaboration into a deep and loving relationship.
They also revealed that laughter has played a major role in keeping their bond strong.The marriage marks Charles Spencer’s fourth wedding. He was previously married to Victoria Aitken, Caroline Freud, and Karen Spencer. His split from Karen became public in 2024 after more than a decade together.
Charles shares seven children with his former wives, while Cat also has two sons from a previous marriage.The couple have been publicly linked since 2024 and recently celebrated a major milestone with their history podcast, which has gained a loyal following among listeners.
