Shan George speaks on infidelity, says keeping malice in marriage isn’t an excuse to cheat

Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has shared her thoughts on the ongoing marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, stressing that silence or misunderstandings in marriage should never justify cheating.

In a lengthy post shared on Facebook, Shan George explained that many people choose silence during disagreements because they dislike confrontations and prefer to process their emotions quietly.

According to her, couples should handle such moments with patience and maturity instead of retaliation.

The actress noted that keeping malice is common in every kind of relationship, including marriages, friendships, workplaces, and even between parents and children.

However, she said what truly matters is how people manage those difficult moments.

She warned couples against adopting a “do me, I do you” attitude while issues are still unresolved, adding that infidelity remains wrong as long as both partners are still living together as husband and wife.

Shan George also condemned men who get involved with married women, describing it as morally unacceptable regardless of whatever problems may exist in the marriage.

She further advised women who are unhappy in their marriages to walk away after making genuine efforts to fix things instead of engaging in extramarital affairs.

While making her point, the actress referenced singer Mr Eazi, recalling a past situation where he reportedly chose to communicate with his wife through email during a disagreement instead of speaking to her directly.
