Actress Judy Austin has responded to claims made by her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, insisting that actor Yul Edochie should not be blamed or insulted over their relationship.
Breaking her silence after Obasi’s recent interview, Judy maintained that she met Yul three years after her marriage had already ended.
According to her, there was nothing wrong with their relationship and she is tired of seeing people attack the actor online.”I met Yul Edochie three years after my marriage ended, and that is not a crime,” she said while urging critics to stop directing insults at him.Judy also praised Yul for supporting her children, claiming he has helped with their education, accommodation, and overall welfare. She alleged that he stepped in during a period when their biological father was absent from their lives.
Addressing Obasi’s allegations, Judy challenged him to present evidence to support his claims. She questioned why he had not taken legal action if he believed his accusations were valid, suggesting that the matter should be resolved through the courts rather than public interviews.
The actress further argued that some of Obasi’s statements appeared contradictory and insisted that the truth would eventually come out through the legal process. She concluded by saying that both parties would meet in court, expressing confidence that justice would prevail for whoever is right.Meanwhile, neither Emmanuel Obasi nor Yul Edochie has made any further public comments following Judy’s response.
