Love Island USA has removed contestant Alannah Keyser from the villa after old social media posts resurfaced showing her allegedly using a racial slur.
The posts, which came from a private account, included a video of Keyser appearing to lip-sync the n-word in a song, along with screenshots that appeared to show her using the same slur in online conversations.
The content only became public after she entered the villa, meaning it was not discovered during the show’s background screening process.Keyser, who joined the reality dating show during the Casa Amor twist, had only been on the series for a few days before her departure.
During a recent episode, viewers were simply informed that she had left Casa Amor. She has not publicly commented on the incident.This marks the second contestant to leave the current season over the use of racist language.
Earlier, contestant Vasana Montgomery was removed after videos surfaced online showing her using the same racial slur.
She later issued a public apology, admitting her actions were wrong, taking responsibility, and expressing regret for the hurt caused.The show faced similar controversies last season, with contestants Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega also exiting after past videos and social media posts containing racist language resurfaced. Both later apologized publicly.
