Nigerian singer Peruzzi has opened up about how meeting Afrobeats star Davido completely changed his life and eventually affected his long-term relationship.
During a recent interview, the singer admitted that he stopped communicating with his girlfriend for days after suddenly being introduced to a fast-paced lifestyle filled with fame, luxury trips, and nonstop excitement.
According to him, everything happened so quickly after meeting Davido that he became carried away by the experience and unintentionally neglected his relationship.
Peruzzi explained that one moment he was living a normal life, and the next he was flying across different countries with Davido and his team.
The singer said the experience felt unreal, making it difficult for him to focus on anything else at the time.
He recalled disappearing for days without replying to his girlfriend’s messages because he was busy enjoying the new lifestyle and spending time with friends.

Speaking humorously, Peruzzi admitted that he simply wasn’t thinking deeply about the relationship then, adding that the situation could have been different if he had been truly in love at the time.
