Fighting back tears, Odo Broni reflected on her marriage to Daddy Lumba and insisted that she cared for him with love and devotion.she recalled how the musician often spoke about her publicly and credited her with supporting him through difficult times.
“Papa, I never lived with you with bad intentions,” she said. “You always told me that if you had not met me, you would have been dead by now. You made me feel like a queen, and you testified to everyone about how good I was to you.”
She said Daddy Lumba would regularly tell people to thank her for the way she took care of him, and that his appreciation made her feel valued during their time together.
