American fitness influencer and content creator Ashton Hall has described Nigeria as his favourite African destination after visiting six countries across the continent.
Reflecting on his journey, Hall said Lagos stood out because of its unique energy, vibrant culture and welcoming atmosphere.
He even compared the city to Miami, saying it offers a similar lively lifestyle while maintaining its own distinct identity.During his African tour, Hall visited South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria.
According to him, Nigeria left the strongest impression.”Lagos feels like an African version of Miami. The culture, the food—everything is amazing. Africa is incredible,” he said during a livestream while looking back on his trip.Throughout his stay in Lagos, Hall immersed himself in everyday life by working out with local fitness enthusiasts, joining outdoor exercise sessions, experiencing motorcycle rides and meeting fans across the city.His visit also included collaborations with notable Nigerian personalities, including music executive Don Jazzy.
By sharing his experiences through livestreams and social media, Hall introduced millions of followers to Nigeria’s culture, hospitality and vibrant lifestyle.Although he said he has no immediate plans to relocate permanently, Hall made it clear that he would gladly return to Nigeria in the future.”I would definitely come back from time to time, but I don’t think I would live there,” he said.His comments quickly gained attention online, with many Nigerians celebrating his positive review of the country.
