Tema was filled with grief and heartfelt tributes as family, friends, fans, and members of Ghana’s entertainment industry gathered for the one-week remembrance ceremony of the late actress and entrepreneur, Beverly Ama Afaglo-Baah.
Held at Green Flavour Events Centre in Community 9 on Saturday, May 30, 2026, the event brought together a large crowd dressed in black and red to celebrate her life and legacy while mourning her sudden passing.
Several well-known personalities from the movie and music scenes attended to stand in support of Beverly’s husband, Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster of Praye fame.
Among those present were John Dumelo, Selassie Ibrahim, Joselyn Dumas, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Nikki Samonas, and many others.
One of the most emotional moments came during tributes from her family.
Her brother, Caleb Afaglo, shared moving details about Beverly’s final days, describing her strength, faith, and peace even while battling illness.He revealed that despite enduring repeated medical procedures, Beverly remained spiritually strong and believed God would grant her peace.The evening included worship sessions, prayers, testimonies, and performances before closing with a symbolic torchlighting ceremony and the release of balloons into the night sky.
Beverly Afaglo passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42. Her family has announced that the final funeral rites and burial arrangements will take place on August 7, 2026.
