KFMD further stated that the contracts being challenged were signed when Qing Madi was just 16 years old. The company argued that the court considered those agreements voidable under relevant child protection laws and maintained that the injunction only applies to specific recordings linked to the disputed contracts rather than her entire career.

The management company also accused JTON of issuing copyright complaints to streaming platforms and sending notices to event organisers in an effort to restrict the singer’s performances and music distribution.
