British-Nigerian rapper Dave and Nigerian superstar Tems have earned a spot on Spotify’s 2026 “Songs of Summer” list with their hit collaboration, Raindance (feat. Tems).
Spotify’s global editorial team selected the song as one of the tracks expected to dominate the summer season, using worldwide streaming trends and listener excitement as part of the selection process.
Released in October 2025 as part of Dave’s album The Boy Who Played the Harp, Raindance quickly gained attention for its fusion of Tems’ smooth, soulful vocals and Dave’s reflective rap style.
The song achieved a major milestone after reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Tems’ first UK chart-topping entry.
