Former Big Brother Naija winner Mercy Eke has opened up about the emotional challenges that came with fame, revealing that she sometimes regrets participating in the reality show despite the opportunities it brought her.
Speaking during an emotional interview with Toke Makinwa, Mercy shared that finding a life partner has become much more difficult since leaving the show.
According to her, fame has had a major impact on her relationships, with financial differences often creating problems.She admitted that although she appreciates the success and benefits she gained from BBNaija, she wishes her personal life had turned out differently.”I regret going to Big Brother, even though I love the benefits that came from it,” she said. “I fall in love so easily. Now, I keep telling myself that I want to get married, but it hasn’t been easy.”Mercy also revealed that she had financially supported some of the men she dated because they were struggling.”I’ve dated guys I’ve given a lot of money to—not just one or two—because they didn’t have much,” she added.
