Kaycee Luxury was reportedly arrested in connection with an alleged cocaine case involving drugs valued at about N39 billion.
Reacting to the backlash, Bobrisky accused some Nigerians of being hypocritical, saying many people who previously praised and associated with Kaycee Luxury quickly changed their attitude after his arrest.
He questioned why some people who once celebrated the luxury shopper were now openly criticising him because he had been arrested.
Bobrisky also said he was not a friend of Kaycee Luxury but maintained that people should not abandon their close friends simply because they are facing serious allegations.
According to him, a person can condemn a friend’s alleged wrongdoing without completely abandoning the individual. He further criticised people he claimed were close to Kaycee Luxury but had started distancing themselves from him following the arrest.Bobrisky said that while people who were not close to the suspect might naturally react strongly to the allegations, he expected genuine friends to show support while allowing the law to take its course.
The NDLEA’s reported arrest of Kaycee Luxury and the alleged seizure of cocaine worth billions of naira has generated significant reactions online, with social media users debating the allegations and the response from people associated with him.
